ABOUT THE POSITION/DEPARTMENT:
Teton County Public Health Department has nursing, emergency preparedness, water testing, and environmental health functions. This position has responsibility for the environmental health and water testing programs, reports to the county manager and is an integral member of the leadership group. Teton County is a resort-destination community.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have bachelors degree in environmental health or related science, be a Registered Environmental Health Specialist within the first year, and have 2-3 years of staff supervisory and program management experience.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of this position include supervision of staff, management of workflow, inspection and compliance practices, strategic planning, community assessment and community action. The environmental health inspections serve all food establishments, commercial pools/spas, and child-care facilities; other program areas include air quality, including indoor air, water quality, radon.
