The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department is looking for an innovative and motivated leader to fill a vacant Environmental Health Supervisor’s position. Toledo-Lucas County Health Department (TLCHD) is a large health department located in Northwest Ohio that serves a population of over 450,000. A supervisor’s position at the TLCHD offers excellent pay and benefits. The selected candidate will have an outstanding opportunity for professional growth and leadership at the local, state and national level. The TLCHD is looking for an individual to expand current programs, bring new programs online and look for innovative ways to deal with changing and complex public health issues facing the community. The chosen candidate for the supervisor position will need to be an individual that is highly motivated to improve public health, desires to be challenged professionally, and is looking for increased responsibility. The candidate must also be an effective team member.



Must be registered with the Ohio Board of Sanitarian Registration as an RS. The selected candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and secure both a public health applicator’s license for baiting of rodents within 1 month and a Lead/Healthy Homes certification within 2 months of hire.
