The Taney County Health Department seeks a full-time Environmental Health Division Manager. Program management responsibilities include, but are not limited to Food Safety, Lodging Regulation, Pool Inspection, Vector Control, Food-borne Disease Response, Emergency Response Planning, and Policy Development and other public health program responsibilities as assigned.



Five (5) years experience working in Environmental Public Health of which two (2) years must be in a managerial capacity, and graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in environmental health, public health, public administration or a closely related field. A Masters degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Physical or Natural Sciences, Public Administration, or closely related field of study is desired. Special Requirements; possess an REHS/RS from NEHA or a state credential and must be able to work an altered schedule, possibly, after hours or on week-ends as needed.
