ABOUT THE POSITION

The Healthy Homes Program Coordinator is responsible for the organization and daily management of the healthy homes, lead poisoning prevention and indoor air quality programs; oversees the departmental built environment initiatives; and other various environmental health related inspections, investigations, and testing.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Emphasis must be in natural sciences, environmental health, or other health related field. Prefer 1 year of environmental health field experience and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) aptitude. Training and experience in housing construction, housing code enforcement and/or housing-related health standards a plus.
